Join us for our celebration service on Sunday, Sept. 8th with Rev. Judith Elia at 10:30am.
Rise Up Earth Angels! Are you singing the Blues? Out of tune with the symphony of life? Struggling to stay alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic during turbulent times? Stand tall in answering the call to Spiritual Social Action by balancing the energies of the Artist, the Warrior and the Meditator. We will look at the life of Jesus, the Buddha, and the teachings of Embodied Spirituality of the World’s Religions for practical ways to live and serve without depleting our energies. Tap into Creativity and Joy with the poise of an innovative Jazz musician. Join us after service for a Q&A about Rev. Judi's recent trip to Palestine.
Rev. Judith Elia is an ordained Unity Minister serving diverse congregations for over 30 years. She is also a FL-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. From a young age her fascination with the soul of psychology led her to train extensively with Psychosocial Historian and Psychoanalyst Erik H. Erikson and Family Systems Pioneer Virginia Satir. She has travelled widely to study with spiritual teachers from Cambodia, China, India, Tibet and Turkey. She has organized conferences and events internationally for World Peace, Holistic Medicine, and the Spiritual Unity of the World’s Religions. She graduated from the Eco-Village Training Program at Findhorn Foundation in Scotland with a Permaculture Design Certificate in 2014. She grew up in a family of Tree Lovers and learned to “Garden with God” from the cloistered nuns across the street from her childhood home in Niagara Falls, New York. She recently retired on her birthday as the Senior Minister of Unity of Port Richey. She is “re-purposing” herself volunteering with Tent of Nations and the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS) in Bethlehem. She will report from her experience with “Hiking boots on the ground” this summer in Occupied Palestine.
